ABOUT THE PROJECT
Entre Viento y Cuerdas is an intimate duo performance that explores the intersection between Spanish music, Latin American traditions, and jazz, creating a vivid and contemporary dialogue between flute, guitar, and voice.
Since 2018, Spanish flutist Rodrigo Parejo and guitarist/vocalist Carlos Sendros have developed a distinctive artistic language shaped by improvisation, rhythmic richness, and chamber-like interplay. Their music moves fluidly between original compositions and reimagined influences from diverse musical traditions, offering a warm and immersive listening experience.
The repertoire features original works by both artists, including selected pieces from Rodrigo Parejo’s album Nomads (2025) and Carlos Sendros’ Caminos (2025).
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTIONDeveloped between Spain and Singapore, Entre Viento y Cuerdas brings together Mediterranean, Latin American, and jazz influences through an intimate dialogue of flute, guitar, and voice. The project reflects years of artistic exchange across cultures and highlights improvisation as a shared language connecting diverse musical traditions.
Since 2018, Rodrigo Parejo and Carlos Sendros have collaborated in a variety of artistic projects presented at venues and festivals including Esplanade Theatre (Singapore), No Black Tie (Malaysia), Singapore Flamenco Festival, and Centro Cultural Usera (Madrid, Spain). Drawing on this shared artistic journey, Entre Viento y Cuerdas brings together original compositions, improvisation, and contemporary reinterpretations of traditional influences, creating a space where cultural identities meet, interact, and evolve.
