"Este proyecto y trabajo discográfico de Rodrigo Parejo Quartet está previsto salir a la luz en Octubre del 2024. En este álbum nos introduce algunas de las composiciones que ha ido creando a lo largo de los años con una gran influencia de las sonoridades de las músicas occidentales y orientales de: España (Flamenco), Japón, Indonesia (Gamelán de Java y Bali), o Latinoamérica (Folklore de México). Estas composiciones se presentan además dentro de un formato musical relacionados con los lenguajes del Jazz Moderno Europeo, la Música Cinemática y Espiritual".

El proyecto está formado por una familia y colectivo de músicos de diferentes países entre Europa y Asia como los músicos indonesios: Sri Hanuraga (Yo-yo Ma, Peter Bernstein), Kevin Yosua (Alex Sipiagin) y Elfa Zulham (Dira Sugandi) con quienes ha grabado recientemente gran parte de su primer álbum “Nomads” en los estudios de Salihara Theater en la ciudad de Yakarta (Indonesia). Por otro lado, en Europa el cuarteto está formado por los músicos: Michal Vanoucek (Deloitte Jazz Awards como mejor solista del año 2008 en Holanda), el contrabajista Pablo Báez (quien ha formado parte de diferentes proyectos importantes del Flamenco y el Jazz, como el proyecto “Huellas XL Big Band” del referente del Flamenco y el Jazz, Jorge Pardo, además de haber trabajado con artistas como: El Guadiana, Montse Cortés o Pepe Habichuela), y otros miembros como: el multiinstrumentalista y talento extremeño, Juanlu García (Perico Sambeat, Rita Payés), el joven baterista sevillano Fernando Caro, o el baterista creativo Pier Bruera (Roman Filiú).
La música de RODRIGO PAREJO QUARTET ‘Nomads’ (2024) es una música con intención de sonar en ámbitos relacionados con Festivales de Jazz y Músicas del Mundo, La Música y el Cine, Danza o Meditación. Algunos lugares por el mundo en donde la música de RODRIGO PAREJO QUARTET ha sido escuchada son: ‘Ngayogjazz’ Festival (Indonesia), Publika Jazz Festival (Malasia), Margaret Greenham Theater (Canada), Spui Theater (Holanda), Assejazz (Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneao de Sevilla), entre otros lugares. RODRIGO PAREJO QUARTET 'Nomads' tiene previsto participar este año 2024 en los festivales internacionales de Ubud Jazz Village Festival (en la isla de Bali, Indonesia) e Ijeng Gunun Jazz Festival en el volcán de Ijeng (Java,Indonesia) entre otros festivales como parte de la gira asiática.

"This project and recording by Rodrigo Parejo Quartet is expected to be released in October 2024. In this album he introduces us to some of the compositions that he has been creating over the years with a great influence of the sounds of the Western and Eastern music from: Spain (Flamenco), Japan, Indonesia (Gamelan from Java and Bali), or Latin America (Folk from Mexico). These compositions are also presented within a musical framework related to the languages of Modern European Jazz, Music Cinematic and Spiritual".
The project is formed by a family and collective of musicians from different countries between Europe and Asia such as the Indonesian musicians: Sri Hanuraga (Yo-yo Ma, Peter Bernstein), Kevin Yosua (Alex Sipiagin) and Elfa Zulham (Dira Sugandi) with whom he has recently recorded part of his first album “Nomads” at the Salihara Theater studios in the city of Jakarta (Indonesia). On the other hand, in Europe the quartet is made up of the musicians: Michal Vanoucek (Deloitte Jazz Awards as best soloist of the year 2008 in Holland), the double bassist Pablo Báez (who has been part of different important Flamenco and Jazz projects, such as “Huellas XL Big Band” project of the Flamenco and Jazz icon, Jorge Pardo, in addition to having worked with artists such as: El Guadiana, Montse Cortés or Pepe Habichuela), and other members such as: the multi-instrumentalist and talent from Extremadura, Juanlu García (Perico Sambeat, Rita Payés), the young Sevillian drummer Fernando Caro, or the creative drummer Pier Bruera (Roman Filiú).
