RODRIGO PAREJO
flute player, improviser, composer and educator (Extremadura. SPAIN. 1981) Versatil adventurous spanish flute player and improviser based in The Netherlands, with a long and broad experience working in different music fields as Jazz, World (Flamenco, Brazilian, Latin, Gamelan,…), Classical, Contemporary, Experimental, Electronic, Rock, Free Jazz, Noise, Ambient, Funk, Hip Hop, Pop, and many other music genres. He has performed in groups and projects with musicians like Phil Woods, Norma Winstone, Alex Sipiagin, The Hague Ethospheric Orchestra, AsGuests quintet, London Improvisers Orchestra, Han Bennink, John Ruocco, Bobby Martínez Latin Elation, Saray Muñoz Barrul, Israel Cerreduela, Yuri Honing, Eric Vloeimans, Michael Moore, Nicole Mitchell, and many others musicians, dancers and artists from different places, cultures and social backgrounds, having performed in different countries in South-East Asia, US, Canada and in a big part of Europe (North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, Festival Flamenco Viena, Steve Reich Festival, Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene, Margaret Greeham Theater, Bratislava Jazz Days,…) He is graduated with Honors from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (The Netherlands) in Jazz Performance, where he also obtained a Master Degree with positive critics.
