RODRIGO PAREJO & KARIM BLAL – “Reunion”
A sonic journey through contemporary jazz, classical music, and world sounds
After years of parallel paths across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, Spanish flutist Rodrigo Parejo and Italian pianist Karim Blal reunite in 2026 with a project that celebrates their musical and human connection.
Both artists first met on the international music scene in The Hague (Netherlands), where they collaborated on various projects within a vibrant creative environment that brought together musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds. Since then, each has pursued a steady international career, and now they rekindle their artistic chemistry with a mature, personal, and deeply expressive proposal.
The duo blends contemporary jazz, classical influences, and world music, weaving soundscapes that travel through the Mediterranean, Asia, and Latin America. Their concerts offer an intimate and poetic experience, where improvisation serves as a bridge between cultures.
The repertoire features original compositions and arrangements of traditional pieces, reimagined with jazz sensitivity and a global musical vision.
